Error Message: Unable to Load VGA Palette (156988)

SYMPTOMS

When you start one of the games listed above, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to load VGA palette

CAUSE

This message occurs if the Games .pod file has been damaged, or was not transferred to your hard disk properly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, uninstall, and then reinstall the game. To remove and reinstall the game, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button, point to Setting, and click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click the Install/Uninstall tab.
  4. Click the game you want to remove, and then click Add/Remove.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to remove the game.
  6. Reinstall the game.
