The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Internet ActiveX Controls 1.0
This article was previously published under Q156692 SUMMARY
The Microsoft Internet Control Pack (also referred to as the Internet
ActiveX Controls) is a series of ActiveX controls that gives developers
direct access to the most up-to-date Internet protocols (WinSockTCP,
WinSockUDP, FTP, HTTP, HTML, POP, SMTP, and NNTP) in applications developed
using Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Visual C++, and Access. While
these controls are very powerful, support for them is limited.
