Microsoft picture extension, .mix is the default Picture It! file format for version 1.0 of Picture It!,
but you can open graphics in 19 other file formats and save to nine of
those formats.
If you need to save your work in another format, be aware of the following:
- You may not be able to save your work in the same file format that
you opened the file from.
- More than one form of a specific file format may exist and
Picture It! may not support all forms of each format listed below.

* When you save to .gif format in Picture It! you cannot specify the
size of the saved image. That feature is sometimes used when
preparing GIFs for use on the Internet.
** Picture It! does not display or print postscript. When you
open an .eps file in Picture It! you are working with the device
independent bitmap (.dib) only.
