SUMMARY

This article describes how to save your Greetings Workshop files to a floppy disk and how to copy your files back to the hard drive or to a different computer.

Your files are stored in the Projects subfolder of the Greetings Workshop folder. By default, the full path to that location is:
   C:\Program Files\Greetings Workshop\Projects
				
NOTE: This is the default path that Setup suggests when you install the program. If you installed Greetings Workshop to a different location, this path will not be accurate. Greetings Workshop data files have the extension .gwp.

To Copy Your Files to a Floppy Disk

To copy your files to a floppy disk, follow these steps:
  1. Click the Start button, and point to Programs.
  2. Click Windows Explorer on the menu that appears.
  3. Move to and click to select the Greetings Workshop Projects folders.
  4. Select the files you want to copy by pressing and holding down the CTRL key, and then clicking each of the files that you want to copy.

    NOTE: To select all the files, on the Edit menu, click Select All.
  5. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  6. Click to select the floppy disk drive (usually drive A) where you want to copy your files.
  7. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

To Copy Files to Your Hard Disk

  1. Click the Start button and point to Programs.
  2. Click Windows Explorer on the menu that appears.
  3. Select the drive where the files are being stored (usually drive A).
  4. Select the files you want to copy to your hard disk, and click Copy on the Edit menu.
  5. Move to and click to select the Greetings Workshop Projects folder.
  6. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
To open one of the files, start Greetings Workshop and click Open An Existing Project. Select the file you want, and click Open It.
