CG3: Sound Recorder Needed to Add .wav Files to Clip Gallery (155854)

If you try to import a .wav file into Microsoft Clip Gallery 3.0, you
may receive the following error message:
Unable to import file type "<your drive:\path\filename>"
CAUSE
This error is generated if you do not have a program, such as Sound
Recorder or Media Player, that can play a .wav file.
RESOLUTION- Quit all programs that are running.
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Click Multimedia in the Components list. Click the Details button.
- Click to select the Media Player and/or Sound Recorder check boxes.
- Click OK in the Multimedia dialog box.
- Click OK in the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box.
- Follow the prompts on the screen.
