PUB: Invalid Page Fault in Icm32.dll When Starting Publisher (155786)

When you start Publisher you may receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down. If the problem persists, please contact the application
vendor.
If you click Details, you see the following message:
Mspub.exe caused and invalid page fault in Icm32.dll at <address>
This problem can occur if you installed a printer driver for a
Hewlett-Packard (HP) color DeskJet.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, do the following:
- Click the Start Button, click Settings, then click Printers.
- Click the icon for your color DeskJet printer.
- Press the Delete key on your keyboard. Click Yes if you see this
message:
Some files were used only for this printer and are no
longer needed. Would you like to delete these files now?
- Search for all the files in your C:\Windows\System folder that
begin with the letters "hp". Delete these files.
- Start Publisher to verify that it works correctly now.
- Reinstall your HP DeskJet driver.
