TMGR: No Tab Labels If True Type Fonts Missing (155535)

SYMPTOMS

If True Type fonts are missing, Microsoft Team Manager does not display the tab label text.

The default font that Team Manager displays in the tabs is Arial. If this font is not loaded on the system, then Windows attempts to find another True Type font (that can be rotated) to use to show tab label text. If all True Type fonts are missing, the tab text labels will not display at all.

WORKAROUND

By default, all versions of Windows install fonts that Team Manager can use to display the rotated text in the tabs of Team Manager. In addition, when Team Manager is installed, four true type fonts are installed: Arial, Hatten, Tahoma, and Wingding. If the text in the tabs in Team Manager is missing, reinstalling Team Manager should replace the missing fonts that Team Manager requires.
