SUMMARY

The default phone number to connect to CheckFree online services in Money 5.0 is 950-1288, an AT&T Link phone number. As of January, 1999, this CheckFree online services phone number is no longer available.

When Money dials this phone number, you may hear a recorded message similar to the following message:

We're sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or not in service. If you feel you have reached this recording in error please check the number and try your call again.
Do not hang up when you hear this recording. Wait for Money to dial the secondary phone number, (800) 328-2427.

MORE INFORMATION

If Money cannot connect to the 950 number for Online Services for two days, Money changes the primary number to the 800 number.

After two months, Money attempts to connect to the 950 number again to test if your phone service supports the primary number.
