TMGR: After Resource Delete/Undo, Can't Open Resource Updates (154768)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Team Manager, after a person is deleted, and then Undo Delete is selected, updates from that person cannot be opened. The following message appears indicating that the person has been deleted or is inactive:
<person's name> was previously made inactive or was deleted from the team file.
If you want to include this person in update messages, you need to either add the person's name back to the team file, or on the Mail tab in the Options dialog box, click to clear the check box before the name in the "Do Not Send Mail To" box. You also need to resend all tasks to this person.

In order to continue to receive messages from the resource, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Send Updates.
  2. In the Send Updates dialog box, select to resend all tasks, and then click Send Now.
  3. In the Task Updates dialog box, click Send.
You will now be able to respond to future updates.
