Money 5.0 Err Msg: Problem with Online Services Setup (154352)

RESOLUTION

If the problem is a result of removing a modem, do the following to reconfigure Money's Dial-Up connection:

1. Exit Money.
2. Double-click My Computer.
3. Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
4. Use the right mouse button to click Money Online, then click Properties. You will see the following error message:
   Dial-Up Networking
   Dial-Up Networking cannot find the specified modem.
   Install the modem or select a new modem before you dial.
5. Click OK.
6. In the Connect Using list, click the modem you are now using.
   
   NOTE: If the only modem listed is the one that has been removed, you must add a new modem using the Windows 95 Control Panel. For more information about how to perform this task in Windows, see your Windows printed documentation or online Help.
7. Click OK.

Money Online Services Setup will now be able to continue.

If the problem is a result of a bad Rnaph.dll file, follow the steps below to replace the file:

1. Click the Start button, point to Find, and click Files and Folders.
2. Enter the following in the Named area, and then click Find Now:

   rnaph.dll

3. Right-click the file icon, then click Properties. The size should be 9,728 bytes.

1. Click Cancel.
2. The correct file size is 9,728 bytes. If it is any other size, continue to step 6.
3. Rename Rnaph.dll to another name, such as Rnaph.old.
4. Reinstall Money by running Money Setup and clicking Reinstall. This will replace Rnaph.dll with a fresh copy.

Note: Rnaph.dll is used by Dial-Up Networking. This component of Windows 95 is used by Money to obtain configuration information for setting up Home Banking.
