BUG: Select From a View Involving Outer Joins May Cause AV (154035)

When you Select from a view that involves simple outer joins using ANSI
syntax and a distinct clause, an "Exception Divide By Zero" error message
appears.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not use a distinct clause in the Select
statement.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server
version 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
