QuickShelf: Shut Down Windows Dialog Box Disappears (153985)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to shut down or restart your computer, the Shut Down Windows dialog box disappears after you select a Shut Down option.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the 32-bit QuickShelf toolbar is running and the Always On Top option is selected.

RESOLUTION

Turn off the QuickShelf Always On Top option. To change the option, do the following:
  1. With your right mouse button, click anywhere on the QuickShelf toolbar, and then click Customize.
  2. In the Customize dialog box, click View Tab.
  3. Make sure Always On Top is not selected, and then click OK.
