TMGR: Entering Dates Without Year Default to Next Occurrence (153351)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q153351 SUMMARY
In Microsoft Team Manager, if you enter a specific date (such as Deadline),
without specifying the year, Team Manager assumes that the date you
specified is the next occurrence of that date after the current month.
For instance, if today's date is May 18, 1997 (5/18/97), and you specify a
deadline for a task by typing "4/30" (April 30) in the Deadline field,
Microsoft Team Manager will populate the field with "4/30/98."
WORKAROUND
If you must specify a date prior to the current month, you can select a
date by clicking the drop-down calendar for that date field, and choosing
the appropriate date. Alternatively, you can specify the year with the date
by entering "4/30/97" instead of "4/30."
