TMGR: No Shortcut Menu in a Blank Object Viewer (153345)

SYMPTOMS

When you edit a blank Object field in Microsoft Team Manager, there is no shortcut menu (usually activated by using the right mouse button) for the Object Viewer in which a new object will be placed.

WORKAROUND

To get an object pasted into the Object Viewer, follow these steps:

  1. On the Insert Menu, click Object.
  2. In the Insert Object box, select the object type or file you want to insert.
  3. Click Ok.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
