SUMMARY

All of the monetary amount fields in Money 99, Money 98, and 5.0 use a new calculator drop-down box. You can enter an amount or click the arrow to the right of the amount to bring up the calculator.

MORE INFORMATION

Use the calculator for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Clicking the equal sign or pressing ENTER closes the calculator and places the result in the amount box.

The calculator accepts numbers less than zero and greater than $9,999,999.99. However, the largest number Microsoft Money will accept is 9,999,999.99.

The calculator does not check to see if the number is usable by Money. If you try to enter a number outside the range used by Money, you will receive the following message:

<number> is an invalid amount. Money does not recognize values that are too large or non-numeric values for this field. Please type a number that uses not more that nine digits (including those after the decimal, even if they are zero).

If the number is invalid, re-enter the number or use the calculator to change the number.
