TMGR: Message Fails to Open Properly (152332)

On some e-mail systems, when you send Team Manager updates, the message
type is reset to the standard form. Therefore, the message fails to open
properly.

The messaging systems used in Microsoft Team Manager, as well as in
Microsoft Project, add information to the message which tells the e-mail
client about custom formatting requirements for the message, including any
custom form information. Some e-mail gateways may strip this information
from the message, causing the e-mail client to default to standard
formatting and a standard message form. There is no way to work around the
problem.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the
beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post
more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
