SYMPTOMS

When you copy a task from one team file to another, assignment work is not pasted correctly.

In the case where more than 1 person is assigned, Microsoft Team Manager assigns the first person 1 day of work, the other people 0 days, and all remaining work as unassigned. In the case where only one person is assigned and there is some work unassigned, all work is assigned to the person. If you copy and paste a task within the same team file, all assignments are pasted correctly.

WORKAROUND

After you paste a task into the new file, reassign the work in the correct amounts for each person assigned.
