TMGR: Summary Tasks Which Meet Filter Criteria Don't Appear (151970)

SYMPTOMS

If you apply a filter to a plan, any summary tasks that apparently fit the criteria are not shown.

CAUSE

Microsoft Team Manager only tests nonsummary tasks when establishing a filtered view. As a result, if a summary task fits the criteria, it is not shown. However, if a subtask fits the criteria, its related summary task is shown, whether or not it fits the criteria.

STATUS

This is by design.
