Event ID 7024: Remoteboot Service Terminates with Error 2613 (151719)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to start the Remoteboot Service automatically on a DEC Alpha computer, the following is displayed:
Event ID: 7024 - The Remoteboot Service terminated with the service- specific error 2613.

CAUSE

When entries are listed in Remoteboot Manager, the Remoteboot Service fails when started automatically.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, start the Remoteboot Service manually.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
