TMGR: Task Priorities with Numbers and Letters Map as Numbers (151131)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Team Manager

This article was previously published under Q151131

SUMMARY

Tasks created in Microsoft Schedule+ that have a priority assigned using both letters and numbers are treated as if the letter were not included.

MORE INFORMATION

In Microsoft Schedule+, tasks can be assigned priorities that include letters as well as numbers. If a task is created with only a letter for a priority, it is assigned the Medium priority. If a task is created with a letter and a number, it is assigned a priority based simply on the number, as shown below:
   1 Highest
   2 High
   3 Medium
   4 Low
   5 Lowest
   Any Other Medium

Tasks created in Microsoft Outlook can have three priorities: Low, Medium, and High. If your tasks in Microsoft Team Manager for team members have a priority other than Low, Medium, or High, Microsoft Outlook attempts to equate these values to one of the three it supports.
