TMGR: Paste Command May Not be Dimmed with Invalid Selection (150670)

SYMPTOMS

The Paste command is not disabled or dimmed if data that is on the Clipboard is data that cannot be pasted into the selected cell.

Trying to paste the wrong data type into most cells results in an error. For example if you try to paste a date into a work field, you receive an error similar to:
05/03/96 08:00 is not a valid work value, or is outside the range for this column. Either reduce the work value or make sure it is in the correct format: for example, 12 days or 12d.
