The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q150105 SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Team Manager, a task that has a large lag time assigned to its
predecessor is scheduled such that the lag time is ignored.
CAUSE
Microsoft Team Manager ignores a lag time which causes a linked task to be
scheduled past the last day of 2050.
WORKAROUND
Assign a lag time that is short enough to keep the linked task within
January 1, 1984 12:00am and December 31, 2050 11:59pm.
MORE INFORMATION
In a finish-to-start relationship, lag time defines the time that elapses
between the finish of the predecessor task and the start of the following
task.
In Microsoft Team Manager, the lag time must be short enough to allow the
linked task to be scheduled within the Microsoft Team Manager boundary
dates of January 1, 1984 12:00am and December 31, 2050 11:59pm.
If a task's lag time attempts to push a task past the latest date,
Microsoft Team Manager displays the scheduling conflict icon and explains
that the task could not be scheduled, possibly because the task would
exceed the Team Manager limit of the year 2050.
