TMGR: Formatting Is Lost When You Send a Note to a Person (149885)

SYMPTOMS

When you send a note that contains bold, underlined, italic, centered, or right-aligned text, all formatting is missing when the person opens the note.

CAUSE

Microsoft Team Manager for team members is unable to use Rich Text formatting.

This behavior occurs when you do the following:

  • You create a task in Microsoft Team Manager and assign it to a person. -and-

  • You send an update that contains the formatting to the person who is assigned to the task. -and-

  • The person accepts the task and opens the note.
