ORK: Incorrect Information About Using Macros in Binders (149661)
The information in this article applies to:
- MSPRESS Office Resource Kit for Windows 95
This article was previously published under Q149661 SUMMARY
The Microsoft Office Resource Kit (ORK) for Windows 95 contains incorrect
information about the way macros work within a binder. On page 314 of the
ORK, in the steps for creating a Binder wizard template with macros,
step 1 has a paragraph that includes the sentence:
Set up the macros to run whenever the template is opened.
There is also a note after these steps to create a Binder wizard that
contains the sentence:
The macros run when the document containing them is opened.
Both of these statements are incorrect, as you cannot have macros
automatically run when you open a Binder template with sections that
contain macros.
