MSB Ocean: Program Stops Responding with Ensoniq Soundscape (146602)

SYMPTOMS

Magic School Bus (MSB) Explores the Ocean stops responding (hangs) intermittently on a computer with an Ensoniq Soundscape sound card using Ensoniq driver version 1.20.03 or Gateway driver version 1.52 drivers. In addition, the sounds may echo (sound very strange).

RESOLUTION

Obtain and install the updated drivers for the Ensoniq sound card. The updated drivers are Ensoniq version 1.30.03 or later.
