This article was previously published under Q146014 SYMPTOMS
When you use the EQ field to create an equation, and you format the
equation in italics, the bracket or parenthesis is displayed and printed
incorrectly.
For example, when you print or display these equations
{EQ \B\RC\)(\A\HS10(3,5,7,11))}
{EQ \B\LC\((\A\HS10(3,5,7,11))}
they resemble the following examples:
3 /
5 /
7 /
11 /
/ 3
/ 5
/ 7
/11
RESOLUTION
Turn on the field codes and then apply italic formatting to the numbers
inside the equation; do not apply italic formatting to the punctuation.
