SYMPTOMS

When you use the Agenda Wizard and specify an agenda topic that starts with a number, such as 10 Year Analysis, Word removes the leading number in your text.

CAUSE

The macro code in the Agenda Wizard is applying a numbering format to the Agenda Topics. When you apply numbering format, Word automatically replaces the leading number (or bullet) because it does not allow you to use both characters together.

RESOLUTION

When you type your entries in the Agenda Wizard, add a hyphen between the number and text, like this:

10-Year Analysis

The Wizard will not remove the number when it applies numbering.
