Error Trying to Acquire Scan Image with Imager (143219)

When you try to acquire an image with either Hewlett-Packard's DeskScan II
version 2.3 or PictureScan, you receive the following error message:
An error has occurred, but cannot load error string.
CAUSE
Microsoft Imager's Twain implementation is not communicating correctly with
DeskScan II or PictureScan to define the correct memory buffer size to
acquire the image.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Imager version 2.0.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUND
Word 7.0a upgrade contains a new Imager dll updated to work with new
Hewlett-Packard scanning software. An updated Imager Dynamic Link Library
DLL) file to work with the new HP scanning software will ship with Office
Pro 95a.
