When you troubleshoot a Windows NT Server, you may need to consider the
following:
- Do not allow users to log on
- Allow existing network connections to remain active
To disable user logon and remove all existing network connections, stop the
Server service.
To disable user logon and allow existing network connections to remain
active, pause the Server service.
To start, pause or stop the Server service, run Control Panel Services in
Windows NT Server.
