Money 2001 and Later

  1. On the navigation bar, click Account List on the Accounts & Bills menu.

    In Money 2000, click Accounts on the navigation bar.
  2. On the left pane, click Get online statements.

    In Money 2000, click the name of the bank that you use for online bill payment under Financial Institutions.

    In Money 2001, click Go to banks and brokers, and then click the financial institution that you use for online bill payment.
  3. Under Use online services, click Create instructions bank where bank is the name of the bank that you use for online bill payment.
  4. Click Write Letter.
  5. Click the type of letter that you want to send, and then click Continue.

    Note The type of letter you can send depends on the services supported by your bank.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen to send the letter.

    When you connect to your bank from Money 2000, the program sends the e-mail.
Note You may not receive a payment status response from your bank for up to two days.

Money 99 and 98

  1. Click Online or Online Banking on the navigation bar.
  2. If you are using Money 99, double-click the account, click the Connect tab, and then click Write A Letter.
  3. Click A letter inquiring about a specific payment, and then click Continue.
  4. Money provides you with a list of payments that Online Services made on your behalf.

    Select the payment in question, and then click OK.
  5. Money places "Payment Investigation" in the Subject field and identifies the payment in the first line of the body of the letter.
  6. Type any additional message information, and then click OK.
  7. Click Connect to send the letter.

Money 5.0

  1. Click Go To, and then click Home Banking.
  2. Click Write A Letter.
  3. Click A letter inquiring about a specific payment, and then click Continue.
  4. Money provides you with a list of payments that Online Services made on your behalf.

    Click the payment in question, and then click OK.
  5. Money places "Payment Investigation" in the Subject field and identifies the payment in the first line of the body of the letter.
  6. Type any additional message information, and then click OK.
  7. Click Call to send the letter.
