WD: Highlighting Prints Black on Monochrome Printers (142774)

When you print text that has been formatted with the Highlight button, the
selection prints solid black.
CAUSE
You have selected "Print Colors as Black on Noncolor Printers." To locate
this option, click Options on the Tools menu, and then select the
Compatibility tab.
WORKAROUND
To print the highlighting in gray scale, clear the "Print colors as black
on noncolor printers" option by doing the following:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- Under Recommended Options For, make sure that either Microsoft Word 97
(for Word 97) or Microsoft Word 6.0-7.0 (for Word 95) is selected.
- Click to select "Print colors as black on noncolor printers".
- Click Default and then click OK.
