The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 97 for Windows
This article was previously published under Q142668 SUMMARY
PowerPoint 97 supports a special kind of text object called a Comment.
A Comment is a text box that you can display or hide. Use Comments the way
you would use paper sticky notes on a paper document; pass the presentation
around and invite others to add their thoughts. When you give your
presentation you can hide the Comments. You can display them again later if
you want to use them as guides to edit your presentation.
MORE INFORMATION
To add a Comment, click Comment on the Insert menu. The Comment appears
as a text box with the registered PowerPoint user's name at the top.
You can type additional information beneath the name.
To make Comments visible, click Comments on the View menu. To hide
them, click Comments on the View menu again.
When Comments are visible, they are also visible in Slide Show and when
printed.
You can format a Comment the same way you format any other text object.
