"Out of Memory" or Garbled Sound Playing MIDI File (142299)

When you play a MIDI file, you may receive an "Out of memory" error
message, or the file may be played with garbled or distorted sound.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if MCISEQ is unable to load all or some of the
MIDI patches.
STATUS

in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
