PUB: Mirrored Layout Guides Remain Even Without Book Fold (141890)

SYMPTOMS

If you change the page layout of a publication to Book Fold, Publisher will automatically enable mirrored layout guides. However, if you then change the page layout from Book Fold to another type of layout, your publication will still have two background pages and mirrored layout guides.

CAUSE

This is the way Publisher is designed to work. You can add pictures or text to the left background page of publications that have mirrored layout guides. When you turn off mirrored layout guides, the left background page is also deleted. To prevent the accidental deletion of information you may want, Publisher does not automatically turn off mirrored layout guides.
