second-level bullet does not align with the first-level text. If you view
the ruler, you will notice that the hanging indent mark does not align
with the paragraph marker.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Click to the left of the indented text. You should see a flashing I-beam
just to the right of the bullet.
- Press SHIFT+TAB to demote the line of text.
- On the Format menu, click Bullet.
- In the Bullet dialog box, click to clear the Use A Bullet check box.
- Click OK.
- With the I-beam still flashing before the line of text, press TAB.
- Press OPTION+8 to create a bullet.
NOTE: To change the bullet, select the text and then click Font on the
Format menu.
The second-level bullet should now line up with the first-level text.
