SUMMARY

In Microsoft Money, you can only view one account at a time in the Account Register. Use the Account Transactions report to view all of the transactions for all of the accounts or to view transactions for multiple accounts.

To use the Account Transactions Report, use the appropriate method for your version of Money.

Money 2001 or Later

  1. On the navigation bar, click Reports, and then click Reports Gallery.
  2. In the left pane, click Spending Habits, and then double-click Account Transactions.
  3. If a chart is displayed, click Report in the lower-left corner.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. On the Account tab, click All Open Accounts.
  6. Click Clear All, and then click to select the check boxes for each account that you want to include.
  7. On the Date tab, click the dates that you want to view.
  8. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Money 2000 and Money 99

  1. On the navigation bar, click Reports.
  2. In the left pane, click Spending Habits, and then double-click Account Transactions.
  3. If a chart is showing, click the Report button in the lower-left corner.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Click the Account tab, and then click All Open Accounts.
  6. Click Clear All, and then click to select the check boxes for the accounts that you want to include.
  7. Click the Date tab, and select the dates you want to view.
  8. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Money 98

  1. On the navigation bar, click Reports.
  2. In the left pane, click Spending Habits, and then double-click Account Transactions.
  3. If a chart is showing, click the Report button in the lower-left corner.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Under Include Transactions, click All Accounts in the From Account list.

    -or-

    Click Multiple Accounts in the From Account list; click Selected Accounts in the Select Accounts dialog box, and then click to select (highlight) the accounts you want to include. Click OK.
  6. Under Date Range, select the dates you want to view.
  7. Click Apply, and then click View.

Money 97

  1. Click Go To, and then click Report And Chart Gallery.
  2. Click Spending Habits, and then double-click Account Transactions.
  3. If a chart is showing, click Report.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Under Include Transactions, select All Accounts in the list.

    -or-

    Select Multiple Accounts. In the Select Accounts dialog box, click Selected Accounts, and then highlight to select the accounts you want to include. Click OK.
  6. Under Date Range, select the dates you want to view.
  7. Click View.

Working with the Transaction Report

Editing a Transaction:

The report shows the transactions for all of your selected accounts. You can edit any transaction by double-clicking the transaction in the report. An Edit Transaction form opens for editing. You are warned if the transaction has been reconciled.

Entering a New Transaction:
  1. With your right mouse button, click a transaction from the same account you want to edit, and then click Go To Account.
  2. In the Transaction Entry Form, click New.

    Enter your transaction. If you have turned off the Transaction Entry Form, enter the transaction at the end of the register.
  3. Click Back to return to the Account Transaction report.

    Your new transaction is included.
