SUMMARY

If you place an absolutely positioned object (APO) so that it overlaps the header, Works assumes that it is part of the header. Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a print the entire object on every page of the document. Works 3.0 prints the portion of the object that lies in the header on every page of the document and cuts off (truncates) the rest of the object.

MORE INFORMATION

In Works 3.0, this problem occurs only if the Use Header And Footer Paragraphs check box is selected. (To view this check box, click Headers And Footers on the View menu.) When you choose to print or print preview the document, you receive the following error message:
Header too tall. Continue?
NOTE: Works 4.0, 4.0a, 4.5, and 4.5a print the entire object on every page if the object overlaps the footer. Works 3.0 prints the portion of the object that is not overlapping the footer, and truncates the part that overlaps into the footer.
