SUMMARY

Microsoft Project defines a footer as one line of text at the bottom of the printed document. However, you can use a line feed character to provide up to three lines in the footer.

MORE INFORMATION

To create multiple-line footers, do the following:

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
  2. In the Page Setup dialog box, click the Footer tab.
  3. Click the end of the text in the footer.
  4. Hold down ALT key and enter 010 on the numeric keypad. Press ENTER key on the keypad. If you are using a Macintosh computer, press and hold SHIFT+OPTION and press the ENTER key on the numeric keypad.

This step adds an additional line in the footer.
  5. Repeat Step 4 to create a third line for the footer.
NOTE: The maximum length of the footer is 240 characters (less 1 character for each line feed character). Note also that this method may only allow the first line to have a specially formatted font. The remaining two lines are printed with the default font.
