Works 95 Communications Error: There Was a Problem Sending Text (137164)

When you try to send text in the Communications module of Works 4.0, 4.0a, 4.5, or 4.5a, you may receive the following error message:
There was a problem sending text.
This occurs when the Line Delay setting is greater than 30 seconds.
RESOLUTION
Set the Line Delay to less than 30 seconds. To adjust your Line Delay setting, do the following:
- On the Settings menu, click Transfer.
- In the Text Transfers section, enter a value in tenths of a
second. For example, 20 seconds is entered as 200.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
