The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Excel for Windows 95
- Microsoft Excel for Windows 5.0c
- Microsoft Excel for Windows NT 5.0
This article was previously published under Q137014 SYMPTOMS
Crystal Ball, versions 3.04 and earlier, created by Decisioneering Inc.,
will not work with Microsoft Excel when you run it under Windows 95.
Note that Crystal Ball WILL work correctly with Microsoft Excel versions
5.x running under Windows 3.x.
CAUSE
Crystal Ball versions 3.04 and earlier will not function under Windows 95
because of the way in which they interact with the operating system.
Attempting to use older versions of Crystal Ball in Windows 95 will result
in a general protection (GP) fault when you load Crystal Ball's add-in
(.XLA) file.
STATUS
Decisioneering Inc. is developing (September 1995) a new version of Crystal
Ball, version 4.0, that will work with Microsoft Excel under Windows 95.
This new version should be available some time in the first quarter of
1996.
MORE INFORMATION
