- Microsoft Works for Windows 95, version 4.0
- Microsoft Works for Windows 95, version 4.0 4.0a
This article was previously published under Q136704 SYMPTOMS
In Works 4.0 or and 4.5 for Windows 95, when you use the mouse to resize an
active table that has been inserted into a word processing document, the
border that normally appears around the selected cell in the table is
incomplete; you can no longer see the border on the right side of the
selected cell. Additionally, you are unable to access the menu that
normally appears when you right-click the selected cell.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, click another cell in the table, or use an arrow
key to move the cursor to another cell, and then move the cursor back to
the original cell.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Works for Windows versions 4.0 and 4.5.
