PRJ: Spelling Command Displays Dialog Box with Garbled Text (136000)

In Microsoft Project, when you click Spelling on the Tools menu, you may
receive a dialog box that displays unreadable text, such as "e|ui||M|4."
The text may contain a combination of extended characters, the pipe symbol,
and random alphabetic and numeric characters.
In Microsoft Project 98 the following error message appears:
There is a problem with the installation of the spelling checker. Reinstall the spelling checker by running Microsoft Project Setup.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you check the spelling in your project if information for the spelling dictionary is missing from the Windows registry.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, run Microsoft Project Setup again in maintenance
mode, and click the Reinstall button to restore any missing files and the missing registry entries.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
