PUB: Text Frame Properties Command Not Available on Pop-up Menu (135826)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 3.0
This article was previously published under Q135826 SYMPTOMS
When you click a text frame with the right mouse button, the pop-up menu
does not contain the Text Frame Properties command.
CAUSE
Clicking an object with the right mouse button brings up a menu of common
actions that you can perform on that object. When you click with the right
mouse button on a text frame, you get a menu of commands that involve
manipulating the text frame. If you select some text first, Publisher
assumes you want to perform some action on the selected text, and the pop-
up menu contains only choices for manipulating that text.
If you have no text selected and you click a text frame with the right
mouse button, the pop-up menu will contain the Text Frame Properties
command.
RESOLUTION
To view the properties of a text frame that contains selected text, click
Text Frame Properties on the Format menu. This command is available
whenever you select a text frame.
