"Device I/O Error" Saving Module Sheet as Basic Code (135792)

When you save a Visual Basic for Applications module sheet as Basic code,
you may receive the following error message:
Device I/O Error
CAUSE
This error will occur under the following conditions:
- The combination of the filename, the path the file is being saved to,
and the file extension, exceeds 127 characters.
-and-
- The module sheet is being saved as Basic code.
WORKAROUND
Save the module sheet with a filename that will not (when combined with the
path that the file is being saved to and the file extension) exceed 127
characters.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
