SYMPTOMS

Windows 95 may not detect the U.S. Robotics Courier V.34 fax/modem installed in your computer.

CAUSE

Windows 95 does not detect the modem because of the modem's outdated onboard Intel flash BIOS.

RESOLUTION

Obtain an updated flash BIOS dated later than 7/5/95 from U.S. Robotics.
