OFF95: Remove All After Run From CD Leaves Shared Files (135364)

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a Run From CD installation of Microsoft Office, the shared components are installed on your computer's hard disk. When you run Setup again in maintenance mode, and choose the Remove All button, these shared files may not be removed from your computer.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you perform a Run From CD installation of Microsoft Office, and then run Setup again (in maintenance mode) and click Remove All. Some of the shared component files and/or folders may still be located in the c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared folder on your computer.
