Splash Screen Doesn't Display When Starting Word (135080)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for Windows 95
This article was previously published under Q135080 SYMPTOMS
When you start Word, Word immediately opens a document window, bypassing
the splash (startup) screen. This behavior occurs when you start Microsoft
Exchange and compose a new message before you start Word.
CAUSE
Exchange opens a session of Word. When you start Word after you start
Exchange, you are actually changing to the active session of Word started
by Exchange.
