When you run Microsoft PowerPoint with virtual memory turned off in
Windows 95, you may experience slow performance or receive memory-related
error messages, similar to the following:
You do not have enough memory to perform this function.
RESOLUTION
Turn virtual memory on. To do this, follow these steps:
- Quit any programs you have running.
- On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
- Double-click the System icon.
- Click the Performance tab, and then click Virtual Memory.
- Click "Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings (recommended)"
to select it.
- Click OK. Click Close.
- If you are prompted to restart Windows, click Yes.
