The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for Windows 95
This article was previously published under Q134724 SYMPTOMS
If you do not have much disk space available when you attempt to save a
file that contains OLE objects, you may experience one of the following:
- The status bar indicates that 100% of the file is saved, but the file is
not actually saved to the disk. You may receive a message indicating
that the disk is full when further changes are made to the file or the
file is re-saved.
-or-
- One of the following error messages appears:
WINWORD.EXE caused an invalid page fault in Mso95.dll.
The disk is full or too many files are open.
Invalid Page Fault in module Ole32.dll.
If you encounter these problems while you are running Windows 95, Windows
may prompt you to empty the Recycle Bin to free some disk space.
These problems are more likely to occur when you save the file to a floppy
disk.
WORKAROUND
To work around these problems, eliminate some of the OLE objects from the
file, or free up some disk space before you save the file.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
