Windows 98

  1. On the sound object drop down menu (located above the sound object) click Copy Audio.
  2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Entertainment, and then click Sound Recorder.
  3. On the Edit menu, click Paste Insert.
  4. On the File menu, click Save.
  5. In the File Name box, type the name for the .wav file, and then click Save.

Windows 95

  1. On the sound object drop down menu (located above the sound object) click Copy Audio.
  2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Multimedia, and then click Sound Recorder.
  3. On the Edit menu, click Paste Insert.
  4. On the File menu, click Save.
  5. In the File Name box, type the name for the .wav file, and then click Save.

Windows 3.x

  1. On the Sound object drop down menu -- located above the sound object -- click Copy Audio.
  2. Press and hold down the ALT key while you press the TAB key. Continue to press the tab numerous times until you see Program Manager, then release the ALT key.
  3. Open a word processor such as Microsoft Word for Windows or MS- Write. On the Edit menu, click Paste. This pastes a sound object icon into the word processing document.
  4. To save or modify the sound object, click the object icon once.
  5. On the Edit menu, point to Sound Object, and then click Edit. The Sound Recorder program starts, allowing you to play and modify .wav files.
NOTE: The Copy Audio feature is not available for any National Anthems. This is by design.
